Dear mother

How can I use the words to describe?

Your unique and gentle, little smile

Dear mother, dear soul, dear love,

You are so wondrous, just like a dove

Where would I have been?

If you wouldn’t have crocheted my skin.

Oh sweet mother, mother, mother,

To me you are like no other

You gifted me with the joy of life,

Creating your own poetic device

To bring nothing but love in return

And my loyal heart to clean the burn.

Dear mother, dear lovely creature,

I hate this difficult life procedure

For I wish to see your smile forever

And for us to always be together.

“A daughter without her mother is a broken woman. It is a loss that turns to arthritis and settles deep into her bones.” ― Kristin Hannah, Summer Island
