The number four is rare,
Extremely rare
Yet I had found it where
I didn’t quite expect.
There she was, unnoticed,
The four-leaf, purple clover
Disguised to pull me closer
To see beyond her beauty,
To see beyond her uniqueness.
And when I realized I found
The one I looked around
I somehow broke my little one
I broke the four-leaf, purple clover
When instead
I should have cherrished
The luck she represented.
“I’ve always been drawn to the four-leaf clover. It’s deeply significant to my sister and me, so much so that we both have had it tattooed on the inside of our wrists.” – Natalie Imbruglia
We had it tattooed inside of our hearts.
Love, D.
