Another white tale

another white tale

knocked on a window

on a cold and foggy morning

a sweet newborn baby

disguised as a snowflake

has come into this world

not knowing from where

not knowing to where

 it might belong

and the little snowflake

was scared to fall

it knew that it will happen

it knew it cannot be stopped

so the snowflake finally accepted

and enjoyed the evanescent ride

by covering the land with grace

accomplishing its purpose

thus leaving behind a gift

another story to be told

another white tale

“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.” ― Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass
