Lucid dreams II

Not long ago I wrote about Lucid dreams and I shared my experience regarding this subject. Since then I was able to have two more lucid dreams.

The first one was very short and I managed to stay lucid for a short period of time. I realized I was in a dream when I was in my old kindergarten and managed to only touch the ground. I kept using the same technique and I was spinning round as I kept moving forward. Because I wasn’t focused enough I kept thinking that I wanted to go home to explore my room and soon after I woke up.

The second one happened just a few hours ago and wanted to write about it as soon as possible so I wouldn’t forget the important details. I was in my living room at night with my aunt when I realized I was in a dream. I got excited and told her this was a dream to see the reaction. She didn’t express any kind of emotion and I wanted to tell her that I love her but I couldn’t speak properly.

It was odd and it never happened to me in a lucid dream. Short after, she disappeared and I continued my research. As I moved around the room I felt dizzy and unable to walk properly. I stood down for a short time where I touched the old carpet and then the old curtain. Amazed I was again to see how vivid it felt everything. Because I was feeling dizzy I did the circles in my knees because it was hard for me to stand up on my feet.

After doing some circles I managed to get up and I was focused to experience taste and smell so I was heading towards the fridge. When I opened the door I saw at the end of the hall a figure standing behind the main entrance door which was already opened. That figure moved weirdly (very similar to the moves we see in horror movies) and had my pajamas. The face wasn’t clear so it frightened me a bit although I knew it wasn’t real. I didn’t want to fight it and closed my eyes to wake up.

Well, that just helped me to wake up in the same spot where I was before I closed my eyes. Then I said “That’s it. I am going there to show that I am not scared and to close the damn door.” When I got closer that figure slowly disappeared and when I was standing right in front of the main door, a very tall and black figure was waiting for me. It was huge and had a tool in its hands. At that point it started to speak indistinctly and it had no resemblance with any language that I heard so far.

I started to feel very frightened at that moment, even though I still knew I was in a dream. I felt that it was evil and it wanted to hurt me with that tool. I closed my eyes immediately again, hoping that it would help me to wake up. And it did; at least that is what I believed.

So there I was, in my bed, when I woke up my boyfriend to tell him all about it. As I was talking with him, at a point I felt that I couldn’t move my mouth anymore. My capacity to speak was slowly diminished and I got scared. I was in real life so what was happening? Soon I realized that it may be another dream so I closed my eyes again and finally woke up in the real world.

The relief I felt was immense. After all those struggles I finally got out. Once again I woke up my boyfriend to tell him everything and this time it was real. He suggested I should stop for a while this research and I concluded the same thing.

It is time for me to take a break and if I will have another lucid dream I will never explore it at night anymore. The significance of that presence is hard to tell. Maybe it appeared because I am scared of the darkness and it frustrates me that I didn’t manage to close the door to keep it out. Maybe it appeared because of the horror movies I have seen a month ago. I don’t know but I will keep searching for answers.

If any of you have encountered a similar experience I would love to read all about it.

“People think dreams aren’t real just because they aren’t made of matter, of particles. Dreams are real. But they are made of viewpoints, of images, of memories and puns and lost hopes.” ― Neil Gaiman

P.S. This is not about astral projections or any kind of out-of-body experience.
